Did you know that in several cultures people have believed through the centuries that the world exists on the back of a giant turtle? Turtles have been used in many religions to depict patience and wisdom, an understanding belief when turtles are such gentle, beautiful, patient and slow moving creatures. This sweet turtle captures the light so beautifully no matter what colours you decide to incorporate into it. A perfect treasure to have on your shelf to have a precious moment in time immortalised and be remembered every time you see it.
This gorgeous handmade turtle can include many things to help keep a special moment close to your heart. Inclusions can include- Hair, Preserved Breastmilk (which I will professionally preserve for you), Preserved Placenta (which will need to be sent to me already preserved), ashes (both human and animal ashes can be respectfully preserved) and even first teeth, along with dirt, sand and botanicals, really the possibilities are almost endless. The process to have your keepsake made is incredibly simple-
1. Order your bespoke keepsake
2. Send your precious inclusions to me with tracking (tracking ensures if there is an issue with your package we can track it) : Address will be provided once your order is confirmed
Below are the processes to send me your various inclusions
Ashes: Place no more than a teaspoon (unless discussed with me before ordering) amount into a double zip lock bag and then in a padded envelope or tracked prepaid satchel.
Breast milk: Please send no more than 10-15mls of Breastmilk in a triple ziplocked bag (or in a small syringe that has a cap and then in a ziplocked bag) with as much air taken out of it as possible, and in a padded envelope. The Breastmilk needs to be completely defrosted before sending.
Locks of hair – place a tiny amount of hair in a small zip lock bag and then in an envelope
Note: any unused inclusions and preserved breastmilk will be returned to you with your keepsake.
3. I will inform your once I pick up your inclusions
4. At each stage of the process I let you know what’s happening and how it’s going.
5. After completion of your piece I will send your precious order with tracking and insurance via Australia Post.
